You will have seen the boys in blue leading the way for Samoa with the legendary ‘Siva Tau’ inspiring children and adults in Samoa and around the world to perform it.

Former Toa Samoa, NRL and Super league star Ali Lauitiiti breaks down the different parts in the Siva Tau along with the words and meaning with help from some of the Mini Toa kids in Auckland.

Learn and then practise along with Ali and the Mini Toa squad.

I still remember the crowd chanting "Ali, Ali" during his prime. He was the best second rower in the game back in the day.

I'm just gonna say that if you're doing the Siva Tau, it has to come straight from your heart, you have to feel it and it comes out naturally then you have the spirit of a toa/warrior... As for the words 😅 you gotta learn it lol

I'm reminded of a story: A young Samoan was playing football in America. His family were spectators and decided to 'gee up' his spirits with Siva Tau. How did the Yanks react? They called the Police. 🤣🤣
