Update: July 11, 2022
Hello everyone. This has just been an amazing ride to see so many people watching her video! I'm so pleased. I am now ready to step into her shoes and share some of my own inpsiration with you. I hope you will join me for dance break videos, journal passages, and perhaps some wisdom of the day. Mother left us on January 3, 2020, just before covid hit us. She was so surprised people watched her video and commented about being inspired. She was like that. She just wanted to jump!!

Update: September 22, 2019
This is amazing that there are more than 3.5M views. I don't know why or how it started trending, but it is sure fun to see all the people and the comments. I could no longer keep up with the comments when she hit over 200,000 views a day. I am sorry for that!! But I want you all to know that she is alive, she is not quite as spry as she was at 90. She loves your comments and says she is not brave, just a regular person. I love reading to her the comments and the list of countries she has been to with this video. I really want her to get on Ellen (USA show). If you have a mind, send Ellen's show a request. Thanks for watching everyone, we never thought it would go viral.

Margaret Wesson has been waiting until her 90th birthday to skydive. July 26, 2014 it happened. Thank you so much everyone at Skydive Twin Cities in Baldwin WI. The whole experience was perfect!! Margaret is with the red and white parachute, Barb is with the orange, watch Barb's spiral!!!

Hello everyone, I wanted to send an update as some of you have been asking....Margaret passed away just before all this covid19 weirdness hit. She was 95.5. She lived a wonderful, full life and once again, I thank you for all your comments. She has heard many of them and couldn't believe that so many people from so many countries would be interested in her video. Humble to the end. Thanks for watching, we are now close to 6M views. Seriously wonderful. Thanks everyone!!!! Barb, daughter of the Margaret. All Hail Margaret!!

Greetings from Moscow, I even cried a little while watching this video. Huge respect to your mother, and respect to the professional guy who landed her so competently and smoothly.
  • @jeanier7185
I was scared she might have a heart attack, stroke or break her legs on landing, but she NAILED IT. Congratulations Margaret! You are a true inspiration!!
  • Age is just a number, and Margaret just gave life to this saying. That was splendid . Outstanding guts of a person, her age. ❤Thanks Margaret for teaching us all , the true meaning of will power.

So it actually just doesn't matter how old you are, it's never too late to do fun things😎

That's how a grandma should be... Ready to rock!
  • My nonna, Aurora, is turning 80 in July and I’ve heard her talking about wishing that she could try skydiving for a couple of years now. So my sis and I have all of our spots reserved and we’re taking her on her bday. 79 yo and probably the most exciting and eccentric person that I know. Always tells my sister and I, “If you want to have a life, you have to live your life and live it your way!”

She at her 90s, Sky diving. And me at 24, "Mom, hold the ladder"
  • Good for her for doing what she wanted before she passed! What an inspiration she is, even in death!
  • @crusherlord
I did this this on Sept 9/23 for my 60th Birthday and I thought that was good.. But after coming across this video I feel that I'll never be able to rise to the occasion like your mother did.. Very insperational video and I'm sure many who have watched this have said "If she can do it, so can I" Thank you for sharing this..♥

When you send your grandma a letter from the battlefield telling her you haven't eaten in days
  • Love from England, this was a joy to watch. Age is not a barrier to anything!!
  • i almost cried with this video, to me it was so emotionally moving....it gives me hope to fulfill this desire to skydive, i am now 61, if God allows i would love to skydive for my birthday...that was so moving for someone at 90 years old...my heart was beating so fast and adrenalin was pumping when they started to jump out of the plane, I am sweating !, as if i was there, great video, she set a president for many who think that they are too old to sky dive.
