I felt bad for levi today when i saw the other 2 commentators have gm title next to their names while levi had had jusy IM title .it was embarrasing. I really felt bad for you bro
  • @notme222
If you'd asked me 3 weeks ago if I would have kept up with the Candidates tournament I'd have said "no". But Levy's commentary is just that good. Truly impressive how he knows which parts to speed through, which parts to focus on, and how to bring excitement into the telling.

Gukesh's composure and accuracy is absolutely insane for his age, gukesh vs hikaru tmrw is gonna be a wild wild game🔥🔥🔥
  • I dont comment on YouTube videos normally, but I gotta say, this is one of the best recaps I have ever watched. Its not just the games played, its how you put them in order, how you make a story line to present out of them, and how enthusiastically you talk about every position. It really brings me joy watching these recaps. Thanks a lot, and I can't wait for the final round!
  • @megagigachad69
This was probably one of your best videos of all time my man, the storytelling was so good
  • @pat777b
Gukesh's refusal to take the draw is reminiscent of Ding Liren's Rg6.
  • Good thing Hikaru isn't playing against Vidit tomorrow. This means he actually has a chance
  • @govinddas7876
"If you turn off the eval bar you would all lose this position with white, black" Well you're right about that
  • @matiaschino8918
the last candidate's recap should be called: THE CANDIDATE!!!!1!!
  • @geunglejoose338
27:57 genuinely one of the most intense games I've witnessed. The fact that it was a dark squared bishop, meaning it wins instead of draws, blew my mind
  • @plasmakitten4261
Gukesh is the only player with the luxury of playing for a draw - but Hikaru with the white pieces should be fully capable of making damn well sure that's a decisive game, one way or another. Meanwhile Ian and Fabi are both in a must win situation. So we should expect two extremely exciting games.
  • Bro when the eval bar was gone it felt like I was lost in the dark 😭
  • @shonkai1001
despite the loss, Pragg showed unbelievable fighting spirit. And Gukesh is just out of this world
  • @yesfinallygot1
it was great seeing you commentating today man. Your recaps are the reason I even started watching the candidates a couple weeks ago. Good job!
  • @stevenmoorebanjo
Your narration and delivery are brilliant and full of enthusiasm and energy. Awesome coverage, Levy! My favorite channel on YouTube.
  • @nonceprogrammer
"No, I'm not trading the queens.. why would I trade the queens? that's what GothamChess would do, and that's why he covers my games" 😂 - 31:30
  • I have not slept the whole night, in India it's 7 am. I would have slept an hour ago when gukesh won, but I was just waiting for you video. Always love your analysis. I know it's a little out of character, comments like this one in your comments section, but just had to show appreciation for your work.
  • @garvitjindal248
And by going against the three-fold repetition, Gukesh says "I ain't came here to explore, I came here to exploit."
