Tokyo 2016 Trip - Yasukuni Shrine Museum.

Decided not to put any music or audio in the video, as I felt it would have detracted from the majesty of being so close to these relics of times gone by.

A lot of the museum is a photography free zone, and I don't think I was allowed to have recorded most of these relics, but I was just another ignorant foreigner unable to follow basic protocol. Oh well.

Also, I never knew the Zero's were so big! I'm 6'3' and was struggling to look over the wings and into the radial engine!

Don't think I was allowed to record 90% of what I recorded.

There is a Mitsubishi Zero aircraft just like this one in the Auckland war memorial in New Zealand.

Nice and thank you. I'm going there next year. Do they not allow video? any suggestions when visiting?

Great video bro as you didn't once get into the politics of the Yushukan Museum, unlike a lot of other idiots on here. Just look at the machines of war that they used in their day and leave it at that.

I loved the displays and soldier memoirs, but the revisionist history was at times laughable. I thought it was a joke at first. Jingoistic/nationalist garbage. Being an American, I at least had to grin that we had the last laugh....
