I'm not usually into brown, but this drawing is amazing! I love the pattern you made for the top, and the dark red-touched brown irises look like they'd feel good to the touch. She deserves a regal name, like Makeda or Kandake (Candace).

I love the name Hazel for her. Maybe when all the colors are done you could do primary colors together, secondary colors and color combinations together. That would be a fun series!

I'm late here but know that the way you made it work is stunning. Brown is such a versatile color and can actually pull more than neutral with a specific undertone! Also I needed to watch this to also not be afraid to color my pieces with brown.
