The Oilers had a 4-1 lead with 3 minutes to go in the 2nd period before giving it up in the 3rd period and ultimately losing Game 1 to the Canucks. What went wrong for them? The TSN Panel breaks it down.

Panel looks like they're at a funeral, LMFAO
  • @numberyi
Cut them some slack, they don’t know a thing about the Canucks because they just watched them for the first time tonight😂
  • Damn i thought this was an oilers talk show with all the excuses they were making
  • None of these guys sound like they’ve watched the Canucks play all season
  • @Stabnsuch
"The come back is surprising" - bwahahahaha did you even watch the last Canucks series? 🤔
  • @Nickh4929
This whole panel is defeated. All chose the oilers in 5 and got humbled tonight

Nothing went wrong. Edm defense and Skinner happened. And hey TSN, be careful, your disappointment is showing.

If you didnt know Canucks were a better team 5v5, then you dont know hockey.

do all these panelists live in Edmonton? this is some insane bias.
  • @HyperBear
I didn't realize this was the "Kiss Edmontons Ass" Panel....like holy hell would it kill any of these "insiders" to actually watch any Canucks hockey from this past season and say "This is how the Canucks play in the 3rd period. Gritty, on the puck, desperate hockey and they want to win at any cost. Just look at Game 4 vs Preds"...Do you think theres a reason why Canucks finished 1st in pacific, have home ice advantage, have 4 nominations for awards, etc? I absolutely love that the Canucks are the underdogs everywhere they go, cause it makes all these asshat insiders, reporters and podcasters, look like bigger idiots (ala Ryan Whitney)

Was this a national broadcast or one targeted just for the Edmonton market? There seemed to be a few "hopefully he / they will be better in Game 2" sentiments sneaking in there. ;-)

What went wrong for the Oilers? Always has to be about Edmonton huh? How bout what the Canucks did right as they were the ones who were dictating play for most of the game. Oilers only had what 18 shots on net. Also i guess the panel didn't watch the Nashville series when the Canucks came back from 2 goals down in under 3mins to win the game. With the Canucks this year it's never over til its over.

What went wrong? The Oilers didnt score 7 goals lol. Its surprising their defense and goaltending is still doing this.
  • They got rattled by Draisaitl going down and Draisaitl coming back and slowing things down for the Oilers on the ice.
  • Why is it called "What went wrong for the Oilers" instead of "What went right for the Canucks"

Maybe it’s that Canucks are a better team. Shocker I know
