In this edition, we find out more about cardiac arrest and CPR, and the BHF-funded work and research into it.

Event speakers:

David Jeffrey – Heart patient discusses having a cardiac arrest at a gym and how the efforts of the staff to resuscitate him were captured on CCTV, and of the impact of essentially watching his own clinical death.

Professor Simon Redwood – Professor of Interventional Cardiology at King’s College London shares his research on assessing new ways of responding to cardiac arrests and how his team are investigating if treating patients in specialised hospitals could increase survival rates.
