Credit to Diego, he knew we needed some game practice playing with 10 men. Preparation is key.

Something's up with Diego, somebody check on him. Nobody goes off beefing in a preseason game.

What time are you uploading the Villa highlights part 😂
  • This referee makes me think premier league referees and VAR are amazing.

Another good test, these games are for Unai’s observation, they mean nothing in regard to league or UCL readiness, nobody at the club is concerned nor should they be!, I’m glad we are getting this pre season as it’s relatively competitive teams forcing the pace which will bode well for a prem start. Keep in mind that team is still a weakened one too. UTV

No one cares about the results for pre season, main thing is everyone keeps fit and no injuries.

สงสาร Olsen แกไม่เก่งแต่ได้รับบาจเจ็บ หายไวๆ UP THE VILLA

We need a top draw central defender - a good back up keeper a new striker and we still need to ship out a few players. Not concerned about the result(s) we have players on holiday once their back results will improve and our new players need time to settle in.

I know it's only pre-season, but we look toothless without Watkins, light in midfield without Kamara, defensively shambolic without Konsa, Martinez. Carlos is a massive liability. Need a 2nd striker & another CB asap.

It was just a friendly game, i believe we can do different in ucl and league, the result means nothing, UTV!💙💜🦁

People forgetting the class performances Diego put in when he played last season because of a pre season mistake. He’s so useful to have in our squad, our fans never give anyone a chance.

I would like to see a starting line up not just a squad led game, I know it's all about fitness but results count no matter the competition! Last season we were on fire, a tad worrying!

Goes to show how important konsa and mings are to leading our back line and keeping the shape whe need atleast one of them in our defence, or another person leading the back line

A reminder how playing in Emery’s midfield, taking the ball on the half turn, takes practice. Luiz and Kamara both had to adapt, and clearly Barkley needs to put in the work. Perhaps we should be in for Merino?
  • This is what friendlies are for, ironing out mistakes and fitness, results mean nothing, chill out

Not sure the ref had a great game ... Two fouls for the first goal plus both teams should've been down to 10 men.
