When making a making a superhero series, one of the things I often figure out is a perfect location for a superhero to protect, mainly a city. I usually pick something that would be rather unique, but I won’t do New York mainly because I believe it to be cliche, so I often go for something a different city or capital, like how arclight mostly sets in London and in Electra’s case, Los Angeles.

Another interesting thing I often give is a gimmick, and theme for both the heroes and the show, such as how arclight’s theme is shadows magic and the undead, while Electra herself is electric themed but the show is mostly around mutants and technology, this goes for their villains too.

As for making cover arts, I always try to show what you can expect from the series or season with important characters such as the main hero and villain and some interesting poses.
