Neville Goddard often talks about the idea that “the old man must die,” which really means we need to let go of our old ways of thinking and being to create a new reality for ourselves. This concept is rooted in the Bible, where it talks about shedding the old self and putting on the new self. For instance, in Ephesians, it says we should leave behind our old, corrupt selves and renew our minds to become more righteous and holy. Similarly, in Colossians, it advises us to discard our old ways and embrace a new self, one that’s renewed in knowledge and aligned with a higher image. Goddard takes these teachings and emphasizes that it’s all about transforming our mindset. To manifest the life we want, we need to let go of outdated beliefs and limitations and embrace a new, empowered version of ourselves.

My notes: - In order to get your desired reality you need to become someone you've never been before. - In order to receive something of higher nature we need to sacrifice something of a lower nature. - If you go to a foreign country and the waiter gives you the menu but he can't understand your language and you point to the menu and say I don't want the fish and close it and say I want the steak obviously what would happen? You would get the fish. That's how the universe works. What you focus on is what you will get. - Things you're exchanging with the universe: Beliefs Thoughts Attention Emotional conviction Identity (All these create your self concept =>frequency) You gotta sacrifice all these to achieve your desired reality only changing your thoughts won't do much it's just toxic positivity - In order to sacrifice your current self you need to give up: Worries Stress Excite Anger Viewpoint Perception Attention - Your heart is the magnet through which you can pull anything - The only thoughts that affect you are the emotionally charged ones - Every decision or reaction is a choice of frequency - Having a higher frequency doesn't mean you're always laughing and smiling it means to have a higher perspective - Most important thing: You have to start seeing reality from the lens of your desired self - When something triggers you ask yourself how your desired self would act?

I figured out a long time ago....that to get the life you want you do have to sacrifice people places and things. But the sacrifice is to remove them from your life so they don't have to be sacrificed for real like the celebrities...let everyone and everything go that does not line up with the dream you have for yourself...anyone with the mindset that will hold you back...anyone without the sight...go no contact and maybe only reach out for holidays....that's how I got my manifestations to work...anyone that just drains you but adds nothing to your dream must go...
