Its just insane how Magnus gets away with these games. What an insane game. The commentary also makes it waaaay better, gotta love Danya

Bro's hairdo is more wild than my 900 rated games

"Actually my biggest comeback was when I quit to play poker for a few months then came back." - Magnum Carlos

He didn't blunder his queen. He magnused his queen

I swear Magnus uses his hair as a distraction tool.

Magnus us like Samson. His strength is in his hair.
  • This really is why time controls are important in chess now. Computers have made classical chess long, boring, and usually ending in draws. In tighter time controls we know the execution isn't going to be perfect, and its impossible to memorize as many computer lines, so it makes it inherently more human. Also makes it more watchable. Much more excitement.

This was my favourite game of their match, loved covering it

Magnus could choose four pieces to start with, while I get all 16, and he still wins.

Fabi, oh no! The time control in these tense situations can really make it tricky to stay cool.

Great job Naro with these commentary videos.
  • I felt really bad for Fabio. Its a loss like this that made Gothem Chess quit chasing the GM title.

Amazing- from both of them. The eval bar didn't relax for a second
