  • I'll listen to the world class midfielder on this one lads

Scholes was absolutely shocking for England. Everyone says he played on the left, check the stats he played in the middle plenty. Probably underachieved because foreign refs didn’t let him kick people and say bless he can’t tackle.

The disrespect towards Arsenal players are unreal. I would like the Arsenal players leave the England set up. No need to return.
  • Rice doesn’t dictate play or set the tempo an he doesn’t have a long range of passes 🤔
  • Scholes is happily criticising now despite being part of England’s biggest letdown in their history. Embarrassing.

How was he “Very critical” of Rice?🤣🤣 He just literally said take less touches… This is advice from one of the greatest Midfielders of all time we’re talking about here…
  • @kadiummusic
Says a guy who had had a hissy fit and didn't want to play for England! Strewth! If anybody was ever overrated it was Scholes! 🙄
  • @Hhammer
It’s refreshing to hear an English person actually asking for more rather than defending Rice
  • @Samng271
he is right. Gruzia CDM control the ball better than Rice
  • Scholes is spot on. They need to scrap English pundits for International Tournaments, they'll just side with the players of the clubs they support. Ian Wright is the worst for it

So here goes! I’m an Arsenal fan, and I do believe both saka and rice have been poor in the tournament so far, I also agree that he hasn’t moved the ball forward enough, looks tired and hasn’t had any treat going forward. Defensively I don’t think he’s been at he’s best either, but I believe that is more down to the unbalanced structure of the team. The middle of the pitch is so congested that there’s is no room for any of the big players to play. so they are all dropping even further back creating a issue with passing patterns through the middle and down the left. In my very honest armchair pundit opinion I would bring worton into the middle and push rice slightly higher to help press higher up the pitch, bring palmer in for saka, and Watkins or Bowen in for Kane leave judd where he is and have foden coming in off the left where he can interchange with Watkins/Bowen as some what if a false nine, which even judd could slip into depending on where they are in the pitch at a given time of the game! Oh and put walker on the left and get Trent in at right back! There you have it! Southgate your welcome to copy 😜😂

Need more people like Paul Scholes, just being honest! So many people terrified of upsetting anyone

Absolutes up to the point! Declan Rice should make less touches
