Alexandre is a terrific musician, she also plays the cornetto! Was working here in London last summer at the Globe Theatre. More please!

Thank you!! It is both a great band and soloist!!! You are very right about the sound. A studio recording is on it's way...: Tone Wik and Barokkanerne: Cantatas and concertos will be released on the Norwegian label 2L in November...

Beautiful playing and interpretation. Clever variation at 3:50. Hope you post more on YouTube!

WOW! I try to play that on flute and it's so hard...great job!

Excelent playing! I also very much like the use of basso continuo with organ, theorbo and bassoon. My only complaint is that it sounds as if recorded under water! The professional microphones are clearly visible in the video, why not use the sound recorded through them instead of the camera mike that provides a quality of sound not better than a 70s portable cassette recorder? We are missing what must be marvelous detail!

The instrument on the right doesn't looks like a harpischord. What is it?
  • @DuoContinuo
not bad, but only 5 stars ;-)) by the resons, already mentioned (sound balance). the cellist used an interesting fingering ;-)) i would like a solo sonata, accompagnied only by Vegard and the portable organ, that would be a very nice sound.....regards from Berlin - Siegfried

Bah quoi! Ils ont un train a prendre ?! Pourquoi jouer si vite. Ne ressemble a rien du tout. Dommage. Comment on peut avoir une super flute et jouer comme une patate!
