Most of the movies you have ever seen where shot on what amounts to an APS-C camera. So why does everyone think you need full-frame to get cinematic footage?? Check out my review of the amazing Fuji X-T3

What do you think; do you need full frame to get cinematic looking images?
  • @JamesErb00
by FAR the coolest looking X-T3 review I've seen
  • @HeatCheck
I rarely comment but I hope you see this. This was truly great cinematography from start to finish. I know that gear gets more clicks, but I would love to see some videos where you talk about your process in terms of composition, lighting, angle of filming, color grading, etc etc. Keep up the great work

Dude, that was some of the most satisfying 11 minutes I spent on Youtube lately ! Everything from the quality of the footage, the creativity for the set and lighting, to the super stylish opening (damn that font !), to the choice of the music... everything just oozes quality ! Great eye, and great work, man ! That's an instant sub, here !

In my opinion the Fujifilm system is the most underrated system ever. I am still shooting with the XT2 and Xpro1 and I love it so much. This cameras literally changed my life.
  • @JacksonHayes
such a big fan of your work - even though I already own the XT3, I was like “hell yeah I’m gonna watch this” definitely agree. This camera is AMAZING.
  • @Arcbridge25
Love the video! For anyone who want the names of the songs used, I found some: 1. Watermark High - Wrongthink 2. Trevor James Tillery - Identity 3. Luke Atencio - Eggshell (Shazam does wonders!) What a mood...

Never comment on videos but the cinematography at the end was some of the most awe inspiring footage I have ever seen. The way you were able to capture the faces of people as they go through the day to day monotonies of life was unbelievably impressive. The urban shots and slowed down night shots in injection with the song of choice just gave me goosebumps. Subscribed.

The Fuji recipes that you can find online for different film stocks are really great too.
  • Funny part. I didn’t watch this to know more about the camera but just to see how you made it. I really enjoy your content. Moody as hell.

OMG what a video, the music , the visuals, location , lighting everything screams quality and passion for the art. Also it’s the most realistic review in ages rather than 30 minutes of crunching numbers that leaves you with nothing at the end of the video. Instant sub here as well looking forward to the next video. Cheers

Your photography and cinematography are on another level. Some clear sci fi and cyberpunk influences throughout that I absolutely loved. For a video about a camera, the amount of effort put into this production was outstanding and honestly inspired me to get out and practice more. You’ve earned a subscriber here man 👌
  • In 2023 I bought X-T3 in mint condition. I am very satisfied. Thanks for the content. Very well made.

I hadn't even considered Fujifilm until I saw this video, and ever since I really really wanted one. I finally got on an XT3 a couple months ago and I love it so much! I couldn't tell you how much this video influenced that decision! Thank you Casey! Your videos are incredible!
  • @pablo-zn1mg
I love the sci fi influences on every shot you take. I'd like to learn more about the editing/post production you do, it looks great!!
  • @marhensa
it gives me chills. your content, the music, your naration. top notch.

When your video is better than the product promotional video itself
  • @Conorkc86
I have got an X-T3 recently, I am blown away by the build quality, ergonomics and images from it. Still getting used to it and the way it works in specific areas like BKT and which film simulations do what. But it is an amazing piece of kit!
