Imagine being an incarnation of a LITERAL GOD who CREATED THE WORLD. Then, every day, a guy in a camel mask and tunic shoots you straight in the horn every day at 5:00 SHARP
  • @MrAnimeTenchou
"The dragons are there to help the hero" Of course they are, you shot at them for their scales or horn shards to earn some good rupees and they don't even attack you, like "Sup dude, need some money? here, sell these and get something to eat bro."
  • I recall somewhere in game it was mentioned that malice spreads faster in bodies of water. Ice being frozen water would make Naydra susceptible to the corruption.

The first time I saw the dragons in the game, I was just wandering around near a waterfall, and I was like, “Geez why did it get so windy. Is that a ball of lightning?” And then my jaw dropped when Farosh swept into view. I LOVE dragons, so I almost started crying. God I love the dragons

Is it just me or does the malice infected Naydra look kinda cool...

I'm so glad that these dragons aren't weird human-dragons this time around
  • So heres a funny thing. You know how ganon wanted to be a god? Well The fact that the dragons have similar names to the gods, its not hard to see that that could be why Gannon chose the form he did. A calamity dragon. The closest he could make himself to a god.
  • me at school: "Man I hate history," me rn: Learning the history of Zelda that isn't any use in real life

Can we talk about how farosh just pops up wherever he damn well pleases?
  • I got 2x as hooked on the game when I ran into Farosh right after leaving the great plateau. Seriously just seeing it right after leaving the plateau was intimidating and exciting as hell.

Hylians: Unable to recreate elemental weapons by the Zonai Hylians as well: Here have some Fire Arrows!

You know, I was actually relieved when I found out the dragons weren't bosses (except the corrupted Naydra). I found them too beautiful and awe-inspiring to want to kill them. Besides, they hold no ill will toward people, so why fight them anyway?
  • A couple things I wanted to mention, but forgot about in this video. One, HOW DID I NOT MENTION THE PORTALS AHHHH!!! Yeah, so it won’t be shocking if they led to some sort of sacred realm. What I found very interesting was how they are VERY similar to the parts that “open” up to the surface in SS. Though since it’s not cloudy all the time in botw it must be something different. Random thought; perhaps Naydra happened to be the only spirit in Hyrule at the time Ganon returned and unleashed his malice...perhaps it was there since Zelda had JUST prayed at the spring of wisdom. Second is that the crystal “spikes” on the dragon’s backs looks nearly identical to the parts on the ends of the elemental arrows. Perhaps the dragons are the source for materials to make them? They are “elemental spirits” after all...though the problem is that not many can see them, so how would people in the present get those materials? Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

I hope the dragons return in Botw 2. It'd be lovely to see one while standing cliffside with Zelda, maybe have her spew out a few facts or a reaction to such a wonderful sight.

I actually liked that the dragons were just there, as a part of the environment. Not everything needs a quest line attached to them.
  • "The dragons are there to help the hero" What does Link do naturally???- Yes, he shoots arrows at the dragons!😂 Very helpful for the hero!
  • @MrPooPooJohn
I like how you say certain words. Especially draygen We have a bearded dragon and we call her a draygen .
  • @dryve4427
I remember I was at one of the lakes that farosh spawned at and I was hunting some fish when I heard a loud noise behind me, it's probably my favorite moment from botw.
