The Colorado Model Railroad Museum is one of the finest miniature accomplishments in the world. This 5,500 sq. feet masterpiece located at 680 10th Street in Greeley, Colorado, this one-of-a-kind museum has hundreds of railroad scenes, more than 500 scale locomotives, 80 scale miles of train track, thousands of other handmade artifacts including around 28,000 handmade trees.

For I have seen the old and I have the new. I was born before the last 2 states were added to this country. My grand parents came here before the start of 1st world war. What an amazing layout! There were so many amazing bridges and focal points. The additional animations just brought it all to life, and you don’t see that very often.

I like model railroads that show a huge landscape with little trains running thru them. It takes a lot of space to accomplish this even with cleverly painted backdrops.

Wow the mountains and the bridges,trees are just awesome and of course the small town and fire department putting the fire out.

I frequent this museum every once in a while, it's unbelievably incredible. The detailing is spot on, and they operate it like a real railroad, they have a dispatcher and everything, they have legit traffic control on the layout too.
