    Spirit Rider's Spirit of Vengeance and Trial by Fire stack, so she can do a 3 damage Pulse Wave or 4 damage Energy Explosion to go with Precision Strike and it's penetrating. Critting at that point would just be overkill.

    I think Simon would've died from the crit miss. He refurns to sideline afyer resolutions but crit miss damage happens right sway
