Formed in 1969, the regiment emerged from the merger of the Royal Horse Guards ("the Blues") and the Royal Dragoons ("the Royals"), units with roots in the mid-17th century. Serving globally, it had roles in Northern Ireland, the Cold War in West Germany, the Falklands War, UN missions in Bosnia, and conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was part of key defense strategies and reconnaissance missions. Notably, Prince William and Prince Harry joined as cornets in 2006.

Very nice moments at the end of the video, with the trooper on Ormonde, trying so hard not to smile, while being cheered by those kids. Children are children, they were trying to make him smile and it looks like they did itšŸ¤£šŸ¤£ Ormonde is not a fan of heat, he looked so placid, completely non-reactivešŸ˜†. Almost falling asleep. He was definitely not his usual self. The woman in the wheelchair looked she got some very nice photos there, it was a really heart warming moment you captured very wellšŸ˜€ Thank you so much for going out in that heat and record everythingšŸ˜Š. Always stay hydrated! The chitsman and gateman were taken inside, i heard the maximum temperature they are allowed outside is 28 C, while for the boxmen and horses is 36 C (I'm not sure if it's in the sun or in the shade, but i would guess in the sun, because 36C in the shade is already horror) . They were very close to being taken inside today.

Don't put your children under and close the big Military horse. It is well trained and controlled but It is still wild horse as Tiger and lion!
