The style is actually a real oil painting on a sheet of glass. Mob is pretty famous for this unique oil painting style to animate.

It’s not just the OPs and EDs that are trippy - the entire series is an acid trip. Really like the bass line in 99.9 - makes me want to learn how to play it on my bass.

The art style is by ONE. The original One Punch Man webcomic was done by him, too. A manga artist did the manga version, which is what the anime follows. ONE did the Mob Psycho 100 manga himself. What is this story about? Well, picture a person with the ability to level whole cities if he wants to. But he doesn't. He just wants to go to school, make friends, and confess to his crush. So he suppresses his immense power. But everyone has their limits, and what happens when he reaches his?

Definitely highly recommend this anime. Its my favorite anime of all time and it really shows you alot of heart, alot of action and alot of life lessons! Also the animation is one of the best animations out there.

Hope you've had a chance to check this out, otherwise I'd love a reaction if you end up wanting to react to it. It's such a good series. Also the oil painting was so wild to see. The artist moved it very very slowly for each frame like stop motion. Between that and the studio literally creating the Mob Chorus to sing the openings there's a lot of passion in this show.
