Award-winning documentary filmmaker and author Iqbal Chand Malhotra’s latest book ‘Red Fear: The China Threat’ traces the history and evaluates and infers the consequences of the political and military confrontations between India and China from the 15th to the 21st century. Malhotra argues that contrary to popular accounts of shared interests in the past, China and India’s relationship has been confrontational for over six centuries.

Mr. Iqbal is would be new sand in the eye of India's current Nehruvian liberal cabal, especially I thin Sagarika Ghosh..😊
  • This was one great interview. This gentleman's every statement brought in new angles and perspective to the subject. This anchor is always amazing in her interviews. She never interrupts the speaker and her every question is deep and week thought through. That can only come from a thorough reading of the book or the subject in other interviews that are not about books. Kudos to both of them.
  • Superb discussion.... 👍. This is one of the most insightful interview I could recount in the near past....Thank you Nayanima for this episode featuring Mr I C Malhotra
  • @Nitrav.
Nehru was an example how a leader can destroy whole country.

Modi met with Xi Jinping 18 times since he became PM but he even refuses to wish the Dalai Lama once on his birthday. Blaming Nehru alone will not help India. Vajpayee made same blunder of Nehru in 2003 when he recognized officially Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) as Tibet part and parcel of China. First TAR is just half of Tibet and secondly, Tibet is part of China. If India declares Tibet legally under China then India will lose legally to claim the McMohan line as border (Tawang Region) as Tawang was given to India based on the treaty India and Tibet signed in 1914 at Shimla delineating the Sino-Tibetan and Indo Tibetan border. Why Chinese insist on Tawang simply because of mistake India made by lying on behalf of China that Tibet was part of China for thousands of years (Nehru said). All Indian leaders PM have failed on Tibet except Lal Bahadur Shastri. From Indira to Modi all followed Nehru's mantra of sacrificing on Tibet to appease China.
  • Awesome 👏👏. I have rarely see this type of complete knowledge interview on sino india relationship and war. Thanks a lot Sir
  • Good that you have taken interest in studying the history and recognizing the necessity of writing it for the people who are unaware and for future generation 👏👏👌👌🙏🙏

After hearing all this, I think India should asked the British bureaucrats to stay back and work for India. Looks like they protected Indian interests better than Nehru.
  • Iqbal Malhotra's book Red Fear is a "must read" to get insight into the background on the happenings of today.
  • @WarriorDeb
Many of you don't know that Neheru also gifted Coco Island to Burma, which was captured by China later

Thank you Print for the extremely informative discussion and very well planned Questioning , of an exceptional person who is so forthright about the Wooly headedness of Nehru who had visions of being a world leader, with no experience of real politick and the stupidity of a completely self absorbed Person. He had no clue about creating National Pride. About dealing with our brave soldiers and Army Brass. Despite our size, he and his policies of appeasing the Left , created the worst kind of licence Raj, that destroyed our moral character. Modi Ji is a son of the soil! He reflects the moral backbone of the common man. He is dedicated, but he must also appreciate the nature of geo politics and trust the Armed forces to do their job. Thank you! I will buy this book and give myself a Diwali gift. Nalini Deka🙏
  • @inaciogomes387
