Today weā€™re going to talk about how to grow long, thick eyelashes.

Eyelashes are made of protein. But, you need trace minerals to make amino acids, which then turn into proteins. When youā€™re missing certain trace minerals, devastating things can happen to your body.

When people lose their eyelashes or have thin eyelashes, it comes down to a deficiency of a specific type of prostaglandin.

Things that will help fix this deficiency:
1. Ricinoleic acid
ā€¢ This acid can help correct the deficiency and helps regrow eyelashes. Ricinoleic acid is in castor oil. Just make sure the castor oil you buy is organic and cold-processed or unrefined.

2. Zinc
ā€¢ Zinc is a trace mineral, and when youā€™re deficient in zinc, you canā€™t make the prostaglandin you need. If you take a zinc supplement, itā€™s best to get it from a quality supplement that contains a blend of all of the trace minerals.

How to grow long, thick eyelashes:
1. Take zinc
2. Use castor oil topically

Itā€™s important to understand symptoms like this and instead of covering them up, try to find the root cause.

Why is a grown man watching a video on eyelashes? BC I watch all of Dr Berg`s videos. This one just saved me $250. I no longer have to buy a complicated book on soil that I know Dr B will read for me and explain to me in simple terms. Thanks Doc!

Castor oil is amazing for lashes, brows and all around the eyes. It even greatly reduced my dark under eye circles and can help with dry eyes as well. There is an ophthalmologist on YT who talks about the benefits of it for eyes. Much safer than those eyelash serums.

I love how you can take us from eyelashes to prostaglandins to soil health and zinc and back to riding the trace mineral ferris wheel. You are a brilliant born educator! and more! āœØ

Castor oil really does work! I started using it on my short, sparse, and fine lashes, and now theyā€™re longer, thicker, and I have more of them ā¤

I didn't have long eyelashes until I started using 1 drop of Castor Oil to massage my eyelashes at bed time. Now some people ask me if I'm wearing fake eyelashes and I'm proud to say, no these are mine. Very good beauty tip, Dr Eric !

  • I`m 74, been doing your type of KETO for about nine months now, I started a food diary last Oct, I go out of my way to make sure I get all my nutritional needs daily, vitamins & minerals. My hair has been getting a little thin on top for several years now, In the last few weeks, I have noticed that it is growing back in places where I almost did not have any. I walk 5 miles a day, plus skip/jump rope and push around a few weights, I feel younger every month. My total cholesterol has gone down 47 points since I started KETO, my weight down 25 pounds. For years I never ate eggs, Now I eat four eggs a day/plus bacon/ Plus a large amount of good healthy vegetables daily. You and other like you on youtube are doing wonders for peoples health. Just want to say Thank you very much.

My grandmother (Jamaican) told me about this years ago, and the thought of putting oil anywhere around my eyes is scary. I wear contacts. So I declined. But darn it the older I get the more I realize that woman knows her stuff. Thanks for the info!
  • Your videos are always very informative and your explanations always seem to sink in where other videos don't stay in my head. I think it's probably because you have a very calming voice which is easy to listen to which makes the video a pleasant experience.

Iā€™ve been using castor oil topically.. even though Iā€™ve seen countless Dermatologists claim itā€™s not ā€œscientifically soundā€ to do so.. yeah well so far I have actually noticed a difference, and now on to Zinc! Thanks Dr Berg ā™„ļø!!
