Can't wait for Microsoft to push another change that messes up the Xbox 360 even more. What's next? They find a way to disable physical discs from working? 😂 I can't put it past Microsoft at this point.
-
What'd be insane is if Microsoft just does an update that lets you pick your own Dashboard and drops the Blades back onto us.
-
Even though it was useless, i miss the huge "GOLD" Banner on the dashboard. It looked so nice
-
Ah yes put the purchase history not in the purchase history section, but in the download history section GENIUS.
-
Technically they didnt take down the marketplace they just removed the tabs from the dashboard
-
To my knowledge if u get a 360 game form the website that is backwards compatible, it will show up in download history. SO WHY SHUT DOWN THE MARKETPLACE WHEN THE WHOLE BACKEND IS STILL THERE
-
I'm honestly not sure what is worse, the fact that Microsoft made hundreds of digital goods unobtainable or the fact that you can still see them there, but can't purchase them.
-
They said they were shutting down the ability to purchase new games, not that the entire XBL service was getting shut down. Some people need to learn to read. The back end is most likely still up so if you buy 360 games on an Xbox One or Series X, it'll show up in your download history on the 360.
-
Man, the blades dashboard would've been PERFECT for this, dk how to describe it but like it'd just feel more fitting for the less amount of tabs.
-
At least you can still see what used to be on the Nintendo eshop on 3DS and Wii U. Edit: It looks like I need to clarify; You can boot into the eshop. The only thing that is still downloadable on both eshops are updates for certain games. That's it.
-
The store still shows on my RGH dashboard and the prices are STILL the same same all games apps etc
-
Im tempted to see how this shutdown reflects on 360 used sales. If these become $30 consoles, Im adding another console to the collection. As a PS3 user, I'll miss the store (however, useless in most cases price wise) but Im ready to mod the ever living hell out of it
-
7:36 even if the old store was "shut down", if it's backwards compatible why tf can't they just redirect You to the new store, like, it's just a website even if there were genuine reasons to shut it down, this could've been handled much better, but I guess with the stuff Xbox is doing now, they just don't care
-
11:56 i watch youtube on my xbox 360 everyday
-
I think your dashboard is slow because your wifi dongle is intermittently cutting out, and the new dashboard is reliant on connectivity (I think)
-
The download history has always been that way.
-
They should've just gotten rid of the ads and left the rest of the dashboard alone. At least it's good to know that the new barren one isn't permanent.
-
Shutting down the store was a MASSIVE fail on Microsofts part.
-
no way they removed half the dashboard
-
An ethernet cable will solve that slow loading you're getting.. both my old Elite and slim do the same thing if I use Wi-Fi
