  • Nigerian government are building a castle on the air. Agitation will not stop until the let the three different nations to remain independent.
  • You are entitled to your opinion and they have rights to say otherwise. Why are you Nigeria beneficiary find it criminal to divide the country you did not create.
  • Is Nigeria a Nation. What is national about Nigeria. Everything is different: language, culture, religion.

Let those people go home immediately. You must release them.

Every hard working and sincere citizen is tired of this country. Bad govt/leadership Bad infrastructure Corruption Terrorism/Banditry. Nepotism Insecurity etc. The people are tired. Everybody wants a better life and good standard of living.
  • Those who brought in Boko Haram is today our vice president.why ignoring these set of Yoruba agitators. Today Boko Haram lives on the northern part of Nation and no military can force them out.
  • How about the killing in the land. Can this be overlooked. Prof. Akintoye and Igboho have been saying that Dupe Onitiri came into the struggle to disorganized it. That is what has played out, can’t you see her proclamation openly so why missing it up with the true agitation that must come to be.

We don't have intelligence in Nigeria really. How could they have come this far without security sniffing anything out?
  • Yoruba States have a right to move out of British Amalgamation in 1891. There is a written declaration right to depart after 100 which had expired in 2014. Yoruba is not longer interested in restructuring. It’s too late for that. We are OUT already.

We are yoruba..., we are indigenous people. We have our right for self-determination. Is Nigeria a nation? What is the language of Nigeria? Who create Nigeria?
  • @femiobayori50
It is the comments I'm reading ooo. That's more important than the discussion.
  • Majority of Yoruba want to get out of the failed Nigeria where insecurity is rife and which is the poverty capital of the world. The government should sit down with the leader of the Yoruba Self Determination, Professor Akintoye and engage in dialogue.

I am not a Yoruba man, despite I was born there. However, I think the Federal Government should be careful in handling this case. You can only suppress and subdue a people for a WHILE, but not the IDEA of the people. If it is true that counter aggression could not stop Boko Haram, neither would it stop these agitations. We had one in the East, another one in Nasarawa State; and now this from the West. These different agitations, if not handled with wisdom may snowball into an unpleasant national catastrophe. A sincerely national confab, made up of true representatives may be the only way forward. Many genuine people find it difficult to contribute to national discuss for fear of being branded by government stooges and sycophants. Force may not be the solution to this case.
