Fake News ALERT! Is China's Binhai Library Fake?

You are one of the few honest people from the Western world, with true integrity. One of the worst if not the worst anti-China YouTube poster is some guy by the handle of “serpentza” (could be misspelled).

The western media keeps saying “fake” when the Chinese have buildings in western style. But in Europe they built these Chinoiserie houses in the 18, 19th centuries. Are they fake?

I was there at the library last October with my family and we had a wonderful time at the magnificent library. Folks like the serpent have gone mad literally, they have run out of their BS for good.

That ZA guy once did a Youtube video on how "China saved my life," and now he slanders the very place that he said saved him. What's that saying about no good deed goes unpunished?

I am CHINESE AND YESTERDAY I WATCHED THAT VIDEo.That guy said loudly that the whole library was fake and just wallpaper. I felt so bad about it. Now you show it and factually say every thing is real. Thank you so much for showing and confirms that it is real

I have met a young couple in Thailand not long ago. They were from US and flow to Singapore and they were traveling from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and then to Cambodia and Vietnam and before going back to US. We have happened to have a casual friendly conversation and I have asked them since they are so near to China, why not go to China just for a few days to see China. I told them China is very interesting. But I was surprised of what they told me. They said according to all their media reports in US and advice by their government and many other people. They were advice and told not to travel to China. Even their parents don't allow them to go to China. They were told China is not a safe country to travel. Very dirty, poor rundown infrastructures, poor transportation system, polluted, homeless people are everywhere waiting to rob tourists are common even in broad daylight. Chances of been detained for no reason by the Communist government is very high. Because China is an authoritarian state and all foreign visitors are monitored by thousands of cameras everywhere and every minute where foreign visitors go. Foreign visitors from western countries can be detained for months or even years for no reason. All these is what they know about China. The couple is like below 25 years of age and already so badly brainwashed by their government and controlled media. This is really sad.

Americans exceptionalism is destroying the mindset of Americans. America please humble yourself and look in the mirror.

I don't care if the entire Western world thinks this library is fake. This is a library for Chinese people to use. The opinions of murderous Western genocidists and imperialists don't matter here. Even the praise of friendly tourists (like Gene Williams) don't matter here. Only the actual users, who enjoy the library and have a nice peaceful read.
