Gardena is a city located in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 58,829 at the 2010 census, up from 57,746 at the 2000 census. Until 2014, the US census cited the City of Gardena as the place with the highest percentage of Japanese Americans in California.[10] Gardena's Japanese American population contributes to the South Bay region of Los Angeles being home to the largest concentration of Japanese companies within the mainland United States.[11]

    Nice video. My relatives live in Gardena. I live in Japan and have not seen them in over 30 years, although we exchange letters and emails. This is the first time I saw the city they live in. Nice place I would like to go there someday.

    Love Gardena. I like the Gardena Marketplace mall on Artesia and Western. The Albertsons in the mall is huge. It is the biggest Albertsons I ever been to. I enjoy the Japanese stores in Gardena and for me it is like a taste of Japan. I visited Japan back in 2006. There is the Dynasty Inn hotel on Western which I like.
