For anyone looking for a FIRST drone, go get the Avata 2. You'll get the most out of it in terms of combined footage quality and just pure fun of flying.

Beautiful videos, good stuff. The drones really seem to compliment each other, allowing the drifting cinematic vs. dynamic shots. I think you nailed it with your observations. Thanks as always. Cheers!

7:06 This! And other way, if you get Avata first, you'll still be wondering about that smooth cinematic shot your can get with Mini. Ahh!

Great video! I have both the Mini 4 Pro and Avata 2, and I enjoy flying both with the Goggles & motion controller.

Great footage! I don't have the time for FPV but I especially enjoyed how you combined the footage from both drones.

Great video. I can relate. I started my DJI journey with a DJI Pocket 3. Soon after I got a Mini 4 Pro, my first ever drone, and started my Youtube channel mainly so my family and friends, especially my parents, could easily see what I created. They had trouble with Dropbox, Google links, and YouTube was simpler after I set it up on their TV so I didn't get cussed out. Lol. Then after the Mini 4 Pro flying and editing I was hooked. Not to mention YouTube started pushing me Avata videos. Almost got the original Avata. Glad I waited a bit because the Avata 2 was announced soon after I was thinking about scratching that itch. Great dang drone. And for an old dog learning new tricks I'm having a blast. Wish I would have started this hobby sooner, but you're never too late to get started. And personally, even though my wallet took a hit, I'm glad I got both. I prefer for fun flying the Avata 2, but the Mini 4 Pro has a ton of features I'm just learning to make great videos and effects. Good to have both in tow. Win/win.

Awesome content as always, Justin! Started flying the Avata 2 in acro and you’re correct that the tilt is lesser in Manual mode.

Excellent demo Justin. I'm expecting to get it next week - my 1st FPV drone. I'm subbing. Greetings from Montreal, Canada.

I just returned from my first two full flights in manual with the Avata 2. Kept the attitude limit on for obvious reasons as never flown FPV manual before but it went really well and no crashes. Managed to do a figure of 8 too. Surprisingly easier than I thought but obviously kept the drone high up (around 200-300' AGL in light wind). Thank you so much Justin for your advice on the other vids - it really helped in my taking the plunge into this amazing hobby.
