Colorado’s Olympic history makes for good reading. As a young boy growing up in Denver at the time, a couldn’t understand why the games were rejected. Now after reading about the realities of the proposal it was for the best.

Colorado is an amazing state. I’m a city girl and mountains freak me out BUT Colorado is worth it! ❤ I went in the fall and visited 4 or 5 towns and the beauty was jaw dropping 😮. The colors of the 🌲, we were able to see snow ❄️ and even got a little hail but it was all worth seeing the beauty of this state. I was cold and hot in one day from the mountain top to the valley, we got it all in Colorado. ❤❤❤❤

Great video! I first visited CO when I was 12. I fell in love with it. I moved to Colorado in 2015. It took some time for my body to get acclimated to the atmosphere and cold. I live in Southern Colorado desert region so it stays warmer than most parts of Colorado.

While Colorado hasn't hosted an olympics: Colorado Springs, CO is Olympic City USA and the US Olympics and Paralympics Museum is in Colorado Springs

Sorry this comment has nothing to do with this video. I really enjoy you videos and have been watching many of them as I have a wonderfully long trip to the west coming up in September (from Indiana). You are a great source of info. The real purpose of this note is to ask if you recommend the National Museum of the Wildlife Art? I have been there and think it is truly incredible. Hope you will add it to your ‘must see’ list. Thanks for all your hard work. Sue
  • Where precisely are you at in your intro? Around 15 seconds into the video?
