26th July 2003 Tri Nations. New Zealand recorded their highest points total against Australia as they crushed the world champions in Sydney. Australia, who were sliding to their second defeat of this year's Tri-Nations, were completely outclassed. All Blacks winger Joe Rokocoko grabbed three of his side's seven tries in a hugely impressive win at the Olympic Stadium. This game was an opportunity for a young Dan Carter to prove himself in the all Blacks jersey. He was just 21-years-old in this game.

Jonah and Wilson are the wingers we talk about in legendary AB tier but hell Rokocoko and Howlett were great - their stats and scoring % back it up. Personally Rokocoko would sit on my all time ABs wing for sure, I loved his style.
  • "Australia's bledisloe cup dominance appears to be in tatters," he said. Wait til you see what's around the corner, bruv. This match was 16 years ago and the Wallabies still haven't got the bloody thing back.

Wow, I almost forgot how good Muliana was, that guy was a machine at full back

Springbok fan here. Still remember when he started his first game for the Crusaders. Mehrtens was out with an injury and I thought the Crusaders might lose because of it. Can clearly remember telling my dad after the game Mehrtens was injured but the guy that replaced him is even better.

2005 British & Irish Lions 2nd test. You can not get any better than that display from Dan Carter. Best ever performance I have seen.

  • I was at that game. Such euphoria. Then Aus beat us a few months later 22-10 in the RWC semi. I was there too.
