Those who voiced early concerns were dismissed as alarmist and ageist. There own character was questioned, rather than the argument against Mr. Biden taken as objective criticism. Well it was true before the primary cycle started, and it's still true tonight: Mr. Biden is past the point of being fit for office in the eyes of millions of American's, and that number is only growing. That opinion is not based in the past. It's based upon watching his performance in recent months during live events. And that is not founded in partisanship. It's not an unfair bias, nor a mark against character. It's not based in party affiliation or ulterior motive. Mr. Biden is simply old. The man is now over 80. We age, it's human and time will come for us all. But, I'm sorry. I don't want any 80 year old in federal office. As an advisor, sure. But sitting in the seat, no. His age is a liability for what is most often cited as the hardest and most demanding single job one can have. While the memory he displays at the podium in recent months should be worrying when one considers the sheer military force at his command, let alone the demands of national security, international relations, and leading the executive branch. It is not unreasonable to demand a more fit candidate be selected. Rather, such demands are the reasonable request given the alternatives.
  • Run, Joe, Run! Don't let them push you around. Despite the misinformation, there is no way you (or any Democrat at this point) can win so migft as well see it through. You're not a quitter! America needs you to run.
