It looks like the Chiefs player touched the ball while out of bounds before the Ravens player recovered it. That is treated like the ball going out of bounds. Since it was on the goal line, that would be Chiefs football at their own 20. I'm actually impressed by the level of coding detail in this play. The fumble, its position, the fact that the Chiefs player was out of bounds when he touched it... that's a lot of coding logic at work on a single play. Those not experienced with code writing underestimate the attention to detail required to write solid programs. This is way beyond script kiddie stuff. EA Sports gets a lot of grief over its Madden games, but kudos to the developers on this.
