Weather Analysis for GA Pilots | AeroSafe March 24

Published 2024-03-24
VFR conditions exist over a lot of the eastern US. IFR and icing conditions persist throughout the midwest, US northern border, and northwest.

AeroSafe, a product of Gilbert Aviation, seeks to help educate our nation's general aviation pilots to make more informed weather decisions. Weather is a causal or contributing factor in far too many GA accidents. You can improve your weather knowledge by watching AeroSafe videos, and committing to a regularly practice of self briefings.

Remember that as PIC, you are responsible to use FAA approved sources of aviation weather to obtain an appropriate weather briefing. By the time the material in this video is released, it is neither appropriate nor approved for decision making.

Great video and awesome in-depth knowledge! You are filling a greatly under-served aspect of aviation. I have already suggested your checklist to each of my students and plan to use it as a teaching tool and pre-flight tool for my self.

I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that moist air is less dense than dry air. Definitely learning a lot from your questions. Thanks!

Great video! It's nice to find one that walks step by step through the process like this, with clear explanations of the resources for each step and the decisions made. Well done!

I’m a little late to the party, but another great video! I feel like you have found a niche, that no one else is doing. Keep up the solid work, and thanks! KOKC
