A Beautiful Winters weekend Getway just 113km is the Picturesque town of Daylesford in Victoria's Macedon Range's. We spent a weekend enjoying Wombat Hill and its beautiful surroundings before indugling in a delicious brunch in a cosy setting.

We then explored the old city centre with its beautiful old buildings and interesting shops and enjoyed the curiosity shop and book store as well as picking up some delicious vanilla slice, a must if you love vanilla slices as much as I do.

Later in the afternoon, we headed to another historical town of Creswick with more beautiful old buildings to admire before settling in for the night at our friends place in Creswick just a short 15 minute drive from Daylesford.
