Better yet, transport the tech conference guys onto the steel girder with guys eating lunch.

Bro really said "with their suits?" Even poor people wore suits back in the day. If anything they would think we dress like trash.

The women from 100 years ago would also be shocked at the women today
  • Those guys still exist, farm boys, steel workers construction workers, pipeliner’s pipefitters electricians they actually keep your country going.

Some of those guys still exist. I pass them in rural Minnesota fixing power lines when it’s -20F at 4:30 in the morning.

Honestly, I don’t think you have to go back 100 years. I think the world has drastically changed since 2010. I am 47 and I can’t believe how different it is now to when I was a kid, or even being n my 30’s.
  • @Shembazarki
If you dropped them into a podcasting studio they’d think the same thing
  • Smart people, engineers, scientists existed back then. A better example would be to transport them to a manual labor job and they will see that their job is more or less the same. It’s just safer, more efficient, and more advanced than what they were used to.

You dont even have to go back that far. Im 49 and times have completely changed compared to when i was 20

My dad broke wild horses for the horse drawn Field Artillery for the Calvary in 1936. He got 50 cents a day. Then he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. A real man.

Those guys were sitting right above a platform. They just made it look like they weren't specifically for the photoshoot. Nobody does research anymore. 😂

My grandfather Ed had to skip out on senior year of high school in 1943, because at 17 he was in the Navy island hopping in the pacific on a destroyer in WWII. He with a radio in essentially a metal “crows nest” directed fire while getting shot at by Japanese fighters. In his yearbook that was given to him early all his classmates would write “save some for me Ed”, “Ill be joining you next summer”, “make us proud”. It was a very very different time back then you had to get tough quick.

Dude in the back actually thought people didn't wear suits in 1913
  • @Quest888
Someone should definitely make a movie on this topic 😂

The irony of Joe Rogan, who sits in a chair, talks, and uploads his podcasts to the internet for a living, bashing white collar tech workers for not being men
  • "Cliff, there must be something in the water here..." "You have no idea. Wait until you see what it has done to the frogs"

There’s always been a subsection of society that fits both descriptions and they’ve always had contempt for each other
