Definitely a brilliant way to not have a ditch down your front lawn. 10/10, I need to find a way to put one in my budget.

Thanks so much for this video. You're the only one explaining leach fields for stormwater drainage. Couple questions: 1. If you add a leach line at the top of a long downslope in a yard, would you still recommend knife-cut pipe and 8-ounce fabric? 2. What size stone do you recommend for a leach field?
-
the perforated pipe in between...is that connected to the black connector or does just lay in between with 2 end covers on each end of the 3? I have a huge field at home that floods after heavy rains and I am going to try this and will need the 3 perforated pipes as well. Will be ordering from your team. Thank you!

Did you get a soil test done first before sizing the field that’s needed for the water volume
-
I did this at my house: - Installed a tank prior to the field that caught blackwater. - it overfilled into the leech field - I dug down six feet and filled four of those feet with a sand/gravel mix - covered it with fabric - Laid out my manifold and pipe - fill - had a 1/2" drop for every foot - total of 30 feet with six pipes, wrapped - built a large shelter over it all to keep out the rain

If your sump pump runs a lot and you add extra pipe between the manifold pipe where do you put the pop up on the end of the run?
-
How much does evaporation figure into leach field function? Do the aspects you discuss in this video apply to septic system leach fields as well?
-
Is this process the same for a septic leach field ?
-
Why didn't you use round rock? Like you usually do?
-
Why not run the pipe straight to the ditch?
-
All that for a single sump that doesn’t run much ? Seems super excessive.
