The Alan Brazil picture behind Simon is haunting
  • If managers like Slot, Poch, Ten Hag who haven’t achieved anything significant in the last 5 years are still getting top jobs in the PL then why can’t Jose get any.
  • Jose Mourinho and Manchester United where a match made in Heaven ...I'll take him back
  • @Ben-xe7hm
    I agree Simon...Mourinho is brilliant

Simon and Souness , I could listen to these two guys all day, great chemistry! keep up the good work
  • Jose's time at Roma and Man U was successful, Roma had two finals back to back one won and the other lost because of the referee, he won 3 trophies in Man and finished 2nd how can you call this a failed season, 1000 of managers don't get these results in there life time.

Liverpool Fan here: Yes I would take Jose, I said it soon as Klopp was leaving, now that all the managers that the FANS WANT are not available Jose is the man for the job - still a big manager - players will respect him, OUR DEFENCE is not the greatest this season leaking goals left right and centre - Jose can sort that out instantly - we have the fire power already, he would put Trent straight in midfield where he belongs - shake up the midfield teach them how to Hold and defend properly - sorry LFC fans but the way we leak goals only Arsenal and City can throw the title away - we will be lucky to win the league this season - and if we lose - it's because of the defence simple as that - we need to learn how to hold onto a 1 - 0 result instead we are always stressing even if we are 2 - 0 up, it all needs to change (JOSE AND PLAYERS WILL LOVE EACH OTHER AND THE YOUNG KIDS WILL STILL GET THEIR CHANCE)

Jose’s style of management has always been ideally suited to cup football, you give him this set of England players and I’d be very confident he will deliver silverware.
  • @Remnants100
Good to see you both looking so healthy and enjoying each other's company once again.
  • I will always love Jose💯💪 Besides Don Carlo best manager of all time 💯👏

Jose is a legend I honestly love the guy and I’ve never met him. Think what young players that might get to work with him must feel.

Arsenal fan here, I would hate to see Jose at Liverpool. He’s an instant winner and that would be a new problem to us.

if Mourinho can go to Liverpool or Madrid or Bayern and fail, then he might be done as a coach. until that happens, Im not writting him off. the last time Jose was in a top club that had good players and wasnt a complete mess was Chelsea and he won the league with them. he won some trophies in Man Utd but we all know by now the story of that club. same with Spurs. he won Roma their first trophy in who knows how many years and reached a Europa League final. I wanna see him at a top club one more time to see if he is finished or if he still has it.

Up to and including his 2nd season at Real Madrid, he was on track to become the greatest manager of all-time. His work at Leiria, Porto, Chelsea, Inter and during those first 2 seasons at Real Madrid was incredible. From his final season at Real Madrid onwards, he declined from his previously ridiculously high standards to merely being excellent, world class etc.
  • Jose is an undoubted character with admirers and critics in equal measure. My objection to him at Liverpool is that he is a manager for 'in their prime' players. He isn't a man who specialises in bringing through young talent as he only hangs around for three years maximum. As the reds don't have the funds of City, they need to bring through players before they reach their peak sell price, and that isn't Jose's game.
  • Mourinho vs Guardiola at Madrid vs Barcelona was different. Nothing comes close, the size of the games was HUGE and the hate between clubs was massive. So much so, the Spanish national team was fractured because of it.
  • @thesmithsnerd
I think at this stage of his career, Mourinho is better suited to international management, he can galvanise and instil confidence in a group of players over a short period, rather than innovate or have to tactically dominate the likes of Pep over an entire season. I’d deffo take him as next England manager.
