  • Yet they were destroyed upon returning home. Even more so than the men and women coming home from Vietnam. The men of the Templars gave all, only to come home to be accused of heresy among other things.

The Knights Templar went to Scotland and Portugal after being outlawed by the King of France and the Pope, there are many places in Scotland with Templar graves with long-handed swords, also Scotland has the oldest Masonic Lodge in the UK and Europe from the 15th century.

  • While the top four men of the organization were imprisoned did they know or were they ever told that their order of the Knights Templar movement had been disbanded and dissolved two years prior to their sentencing? Also since the pope demanded that all of the Knights Templars possessions were to be sent to the order of St John in Jerusalem why is it that there has been this centuries long mystery about what happened to the Templars richest? If everything went to the order of St John in Jerusalem, why can't historians and archaeologists start their search for their valuables and possessions there rather than trying to search for anonymously all over the globe?

Where is Portugal, Spain and Scotland in all of this. They were one of the most important countries in the establishment of the Templars organization. One of the most important is the Convent of Tomar (templars convent) for example

There are 2 Hughes de Payn contenders to the founding of the Templars, Historians favour the one from Champagne but there is not total certainty. The other one is from Ardèche and was present in Jerusalem at the time and has many arguments in his favour !
