truly the best thing you can do for yourself, to feel good that is, is to do good onto others. be it small or big, a nudge in the direction of positivity is a positive self reflection. happiness is the secret to life... there's no doubt about that. one thing i can do today is amplify goodness of greater people, and act as an invisible conduit. and that feels good.

Note to listeners:
When you try to not hear the music, you'll find that's all you can hear. However, when you listen to the music, you'll notice that all you hear is Alan Watts. There's a lower volume musical version of this video here if you need that:    • Alan Watts - How To See Through The G...

  • This is the real secret of life — to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.-Alan Watts

Alan once said "I wish I could do this without needing my body." I think he's doing just that.

I get a funny feeling that everything Allan teaches me I already knew.
  • People, imagine, if they would start to teach this kind of stuff at schools all over the world.

I just now ran across this quote, not sure of the author but fitting just the same. “THE EVIL ARE POWERLESS IF THE GOOD ARE UNAFRAID”
  • Incorporate this guy into faculty from 1st-12th grade if you want to change the world

Age 60. I wish this information was available for me at an earlier age. This message is the truth.
  • Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet, “to thine own self be true.” When we’re young children, we are closest to who we really are. As we get older people around us tell us how we should be. While this is an important part of socialization and identity, it often leads us astray from who we really are. We get so wrapped up in our assumed identity that we forget who we are in our heart. So it can be the greatest challenge of our lives to get in touch with our true self so that you can live a happy and meaningful life. And if we can learn it sooner before having children of our own we stand a greater chance of not passing along the negative learned behaviors to them. Break that cycle!

Listening to Alan Watts makes one feel all of life's troubles melting away even if only for a little while but still it's worth it.

"The only way to handle danger is to face it" What an opening line
  • "... and then she said; darkness isn't the opposite of light, it's the absence of it".

While listening to him speak, I’m immediately immersed into a world that I never want to leave, I find myself returning as often as possible <3

Awesome to see. I'm 47 and 25 years ago I heard these recordings once a week on a small late night radio station. God, I'm sounding like an old dude. Anywats, you hear it when you're ready for it, Internet or not.
  • Although Alan is no longer here with us, coming in orbit with his energy in this lifetime is just as extraordinary 💕
