She honestly looks so much creepier now that she’s older. It’s honestly a great addition to the story, too. She’s inconsistent with the look and the acting like a child the first time Esther tries this, making the second movie look like she perfected it this time. I’m so excited for this movie edit: lotta people are confused so “second movie” i am referring to is the 2009 original. I see it as a chronological order thing

I can't believe the prequel actually had me rooting for Esther 😆 great movie.

OMG, I just finished this and it was BRILLIANT! I swear the twist in this movie was something I never would've imagined, especially looking at the trailer. I would've figured it would've been like Orphan but boy was I wrong! Isabelle Fuhrman again nailed it as Ester. I think she did better than the first time, especially since she's older now.

it's so interesting that now that isabelle is older, she actually looks like what she is, an adult impersonating a child

Isabelle Fuhrman did an excellent job as a psycho killer Esther in 1st Orphan movie. She's so talented and I know she'll show us how much capable she is again. Eagerly waiting to see Esther.

I love this movie! Rather than comparing it with the first movie that came out in 2009, I’m just happy that they actually made a new part with the same actress. There is no need to compare which one is better than the other. Both are great, and both are about the same story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Prequel was actually suprisingly good. I'm not fond of prequels to begin with nor the director behind this film due to his lack of good movies,but he finally made one that's not just really good,but damn near close with the first. The ongoing story line was well written,the midway twist had my jaw on the floor for 5 mins,Fuhrman did a really good job reprising her role and the rest of the cast did well too,and I thought the editing tricks to make her look shorter and younger were done right. Film completely blew me away. First 30 mins were fine and it had a few cheap editing tricks that bugged me,but other than that,film was solid,bat shit crazy,and really fun 90 minutes.

The fact that she's still able to do the Esther voice after 12 years is amazing

I felt like the first movie slipped under so many people's radar because it was not much talked about. People thought it was your run-of-the-mill child possession horror movie but the plot twist was something so refreshing and unexpected. I know it left me stunned when all was revealed. This sequel looks promising as well. Can't wait to see it!

Wow!! the first one was one of my favorite horror films.. even thinking about the twist gives me chills  is this a prequel or a sequel??

I thought this movie was just gonna repeat the first movie, but nope! Kudos to the writers for another great twist. 👏 Hope the movie gets the recognitiom it deserves. Both this and the first Orphan movie.

Love that no CGI was used to make her younger and instead its all lighting & camera tricks

To my surprise, this was a really good prequel and one of the better ones out there. It has a really good twist you don’t see coming. At first, it thought it would be unnecessary, but I’m glad we got it!

I thought Isabelle would get her big break in the first movie and she’d be everywhere! I’m glad she gets another chance at proving everyone that’s she capable at anything. The first movie was so advance for her age

I fell in love with the first one, and finding out that there would be a prequel was so exciting! I’ve been waiting to watch this movie for two years, and now all the waiting has finally paid off!

12 Years ago Furman did such an amazing job playing the orphan and slowly alternating the faced that she's playing into the killer Leena. I loved how she dropped the act on the first orphan like I know if I faced her character that I would be terrified on the personality and wisdom that she has. And having this prequel is just so exciting!

Isabelle is such a good actress ! She kills it every time 🔥🔥 her performance was excellent in this movie
