Remembering "The Woods" in Woodstock, NY

In my teeny tiny forest area behind my home in Illinois, I am clearing out paths and remembering my childhood growing up in Woodstock, NY. We had miles and miles of forest paths right behind our homes! Who made those paths!??! I wish I knew, so I could thank them for all the wonderful summers of fun memories!
