Being a Christian in Jordan is hard, I always have been labeled a Christian and my friends would talk down to my religion to the point I became secretly an atheist. 2 months ago I witnessed Jesus and now all my Muslim friends are shocked at how much I’m changing. Gone are the times of shame of when I would shy away from saying I’m a Christian. Now, I say it with my head held high. I blast Christian music so loud in the car now, my Muslim friends are shocked. In Jordan and most Muslim majority countries the mosques pray out loud in the speaker and you must close all music. Now I blast my worship music as loud as my car gets and drive around. I don’t care any more. I love Jesus and I can’t hide it. They can’t threaten me. They can’t break me for I am Jesus’ soldier. I don’t fear no man. I fear no false prophets. My walk with Jesus makes me invincible. In JESUS name AMEN

I was raised in a Greek Orthodox Household growing up. This is the music I would listen to as a I drifted off to sleep. As a child, I did take apart of it, I prayed and went to church. After losing both my grandparents very suddenly and within a short frame of time, my connection with God dramatically shifted as I was filled with anger because I lost them. The older I got, the less I believed and the more I denounced his existence due to the struggles of life that I had been dealt. Recently I had a major anxiety episode, something I’ve struggled with on and off throughout my life, I’ve had this yearning to make peace with God and try to find my way back to him. This music gives me memories of my childhood, and of my grandparents and brings tears to my eyes. I’m gonna to try to reopen my connection to God for the first time in my life, and I hope I am successful. Thank you for this video.
