That has to be one of Lin Dan's most impressive performances out of all the years I've been watching. IMO his combination of precision shots and excellent movement was so beautiful to watch. If he maintained this sort of form up until now I have no doubt he'd still easily be the best in mens singles.

From the way those audiences encourage the players, you know that the Chinese audience is the one who really understands and loves this sport.

5:33 drop shot without turning 10:09 smash to backhand side, flick to forehand backcorner

Never get boring to watch this game over and over again. Both of them have superior deception techniques. I'm learning forehand slice drop shot just by watching their matches.

Always love to see both of them played against each other. Lin Dan is fantastic and Lee either.  Ps. really bored when people talking about cheating in such a great game like this! -*- Come on it's not the first time Lee defeated by Lin Dan!!!

Lee is the legend....well experienced and most senior player in the badminton world right now.

To anybody who's saying crap about LCW playing for bookies or being paid by the CBA, unless you have definite, rock-solid proof for that being an actual fact (come on, post it on the internet if you are so confident), please keep the bullshit to yourself (because that's where it belongs). LCW can't play at his top speed because Lin Dan forces him to. If you people actually understand something about badminton, you'll notice from all the other matches that Lin Dan is a much smarter player than the vast majority of the current badminton players. He is capable of dictating the rally pace while LCW is just heavily relaying on his athletic abilities (speed, balance). With all these years, it's a shame that LCW didn't get smarter, but got brutally stronger instead. Take the semi-final of Lin Dan vs T.M. Nguyen for example. TM is one of the fastest players out there who can outspeed a lot of players, he wasn't capable of playing at the speed he craves because Lin Dan's shots' quality is too damn high, every single shot pushes TM to his limits, hence Lin Dan can play the rallies with the pace he likes.
