More LP "LYING FROM YOU" won't disappoint
  • @Ares6935
This is probably in my top 5 music videos, just so simple and executed so well and holds up all these years later

This is my first time listening to Linkin Park. You guys done got me bouncing around in my computer chair at 8am and almost spilled my coffee. lmao. I for sure have to look them up. I appreciate you guys. I'm so glad I subscribed so long ago. Side note, I get so excited for the trivia. I'll admit. I'm a quiz nerd. lol You guys are so much fun. Thumbs up!!!

Wow nice. They threw a real party in the studio to record the sounds for this song and as the lyrics suggest, Mike and Chester were quite frustrated when writing it, they wrote the lyrics for almost the hundredth time hence “Here we go for the hundredth time...” and “I bleed it out -Digging deeper just to throw it away". In the live version, they always included various elements in the bridge as a show finale, such as “Sabotage” by the Beastie Boys, a drum solo and various rap verses or songs.

"Bleed It Out", as far as I recall, is actually more of a Mike Shinoda song, inspired by the process of song writing. How you "dig deep" into yourself for meaning, creativity and inspiration, "just to throw it away". The struggle with never being satisfied, so you dig deeper again, but it never seems enough or right. When you combine that with the knowledge of how emotionally raw and painful Linkin Parks lyrics usually are, the "digging deeper" would be even more of a painful process; imagine putting your hurts and trauma on paper, just to discard that expression over and over due to your creative perfectionism? That's tough. To the listener, the lyrics can obviously be related to much more broadly. We all put in effort in some ways, or bare out souls, just to feel it's not enough, that we need to dig deeper into ourselves, over and over. You asked if they had ever made a "bad song". In my experience as a long-time fan, someone's least favourite LP song is someone else's favourite. Obviously, some songs are more broadly well-regarded than others, especially those that became hit singles. But I've yet to see anyone agree on a bad song. Thank you for listening to more Linkin Park ❤
  • Even though Chester was the voice ,like this one and many songs, Mike shinoda was the main writer and composer(including piano & guitar riffs) for them.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song so much. I always enjoy watching you guys. 😘

This is one of the absolute best songs to run to that I ever found.

Hollywood did you get enough sleep, my guy? That's a brain malfunction on my level 🙃:goodvibes: I had this as an alarm from "I've opened up these scars. . . . .to . . . I'll make you face this" right before the claps, it drove my husband nuts, so I changed it to Papercut. I think this is one of my favorite harsh vocal hooks from Chester, but there are so many to choose from. I've not found a bad LP song, although I have avoided 'Lost', I'm not sure I can do that one. Mike did a lot of the writing, it wasn't always just Chester. If you haven't reacted to Heavy ft Kiiara non-censored version or A Place For My Head live in Texas (really the whole Live In Texas concert is amazing!) those are great ends of the spectrum in my opinion.

A way you could look at the lyrics I can give due to my own mental health journey. Sometimes you have to reopen old wounds so they can heal properly. You have to sometimes dive deep to find the root of old trauma or even habits you pick up as survival mechanisms, and throw away things that no longer serve you.
  • @metaldalz
There's NO LINKIN PARK bad song... No matter which one you choose. Even in their latest album (taht everyone hated because it didn't have any guitars in it) they are ALL great songs!!! Keep up the good work guys! Duces!!!

First time hearing this one by LP…awesome! Also, appreciate your outlook on Mondays. If we only look forward to weekends and vacations, we are missing a LOT of the 365! Thanks guys! 🎶
  • @ShanLH5
Y’all have been cracking me up lately with your Monday talk. “Beat Monday’s ass!” 😆 The only physical contact I generally have is hugging my parents when I see them. And snuggling with my Boo Boo when I see him 🥰 I’m definitely not touching anyone at work lol
  • "High Voltage" is a song that I've heard people say isn't as good as the rest of their music. I've heard the same about "My December". Idk if I'd consider those "deep cuts". But you two should definitely react to those two. I consider those two of their best.
