I remember when this came out. It really was mind-blowing, deserving of the "one more thing"
-
I like how everyone remains dead silent when they reveal the price... :)
-
I remember the hype, the Talk about the upsetting $1000 price. Now Everyone is ok with paying $+1300k 4 almost 5 years later.

By far the most comfortable iPhone I’ve ever owned. Perfect size and the rounded stainless steel was so premium
-
The iconic words “One more thing...”

i just miss Steve for presentations like this. imagine how he would've introduced the Face ID. probably just getting out one iPhone from his pocket, look at it and... "BOOM it's unlocked... that's how easy it is, isn't it...it works like magic..!" man..i just miss those magical words and charisma on stage.

The iPhone X is just iconic and no newer iPhone beats the feeling

28:31 "we call it, airpower" farts

IPhone 11: no volume buttons IPhone 12: no power button IPhone 13: no camera IPhone 14: Transparent IPhone 15: You're the phone

Congrats to this guy for trying his best to stay cool under the extreme pressure. He’s unveiling the most innovative iPhone since the original, so of course he’d be incredibly nervous.

33:26 I love how the entire audience is silent when they announce the price 😂

He wasn't kidding when he said this phone will setup the technology for the next decade. The new 14 has come a long way since the X, and it's only been 5 years

27:42, oof, that did not age well at all

Damn, I'm still not an Apple fanboy but FIVE YEARS ON I still get goosebumps watching this. Apple does product reveals incredibly well, I have no shame in admitting that. All the way back to the 6S, in my opinion

iPhone X was my first ever brand new smart phone. I remember watching this live with my sister and both of us just being in disbelief that apple pulled off a buttonless display that won't freeze or cause issues. I loved my 6s but I remember the feeling I had holding iPhone X for the first time. The weight of the phone, the smooth feeling glass, the cold steel on in the palm of my hand, It genuinely felt like it was worth $1000 and it was so incredibly special for the time. I got mine in silver instead of black like everyone else did. Ever since iPhone forever came out I've had that contract (or at least the equivalent from sprint after apple scrapped that idea) so I replace my phone every year because why not and I bet the 14 pro will be a good phone but nothing will ever feel as special as the X, it has been my all time favorite phone.

28:25 their team did not know how to do this

One of the best Apple phones yet. Looking forward to amazing improvements in the future.

I remember getting the iPhone X on launch day in 2017. I was really excited. Great times.
