I agreed with Gil. A championship doesn’t have to be won to make someone better. Players can make each other better in different ways. Such as skill set, being in the right position to score or defend, playmaking, etc.

GSW didn’t make Kevin Durant better. We just got a opportunity to see Kevin Durant be himself without the defense focused solely on stopping him. Less double and triple teams. We saw the same KD before he went to GSW after he left. Him in OKC & BKN didn’t look much different when healthy.
