Perry Johnson is not the man to talk about the younger generation. He is the craziest looking politician I've ever seen.
  • @ma32851
Why does this guy look like a cross between a used car salesman and the reverend Jim Jones?
  • Who the heck is this guy? He obviously didn't hear how videk explained his proposal
  • I have never heard of Perry Johnson. Now I see why. This is not a serious candidate.
  • He clearly hasn't studied the competition. Vivek would cut him down to size in short order in a debate.
  • @cybrim1
Honestly it's not a terrible idea, because reality has a funny way of setting in after 25.
  • right or wrong it’s víveks way of saying you should have a sense of what your voting for to vote
  • @DobyxRC
Sorry Perry but you and your $50 suit are not qualified to run for president. Vivek not only has a plan but he explains it very well. All you do is say why you are so hard done by. Vivek has created MASSIVE industry and you have created a need for crumby hair dye.
  • Vivek is right. It's not taking the privilege to vote when they are just asked to pass a civics test.
  • @apacur
Vivek said more than just the age of 25..... He gave exceptions
  • @AP-ho9vd
Perry Johnson calling vivek nuts. Says a lot from a guy proven guilty of filing thousands of invalid nominating signatures in a blue state and didn't expect to get caught. "How stupid can YOU be" lol ?
  • @doggyhouz
Vivek didn’t say that. He says take a civic test after you turn 18 or wait to 25.
  • @atcdiddly
You don't need to appeal to a demographic that can't vote. Adding an age requirement for voters would fundamentally change the country and both parties for the best.
  • Vivek is the smartest person in this election. Vivek wants every high school student to pass a civics test to qualify to vote. I think it is a good idea. For our democracy to be successful every US citizen must know basic information about our constitution and the working of our government.
  • Once Vivek becomes president I am sure he has a place for a guy who can control fiscal spending like Perry. No hard feelings. Vivek says he'll considered Robert Kennedy Jr for vice president. Ok with that too.
  • Perry's argument ... get as many votes from young voters as possible by any means possible. Vivek's argument ... get as many young voters knowledgeable about our nation, government, and real issues prior to shaping our nation's future. I think the better policy is pretty clear.
  • as far as i can see, it is hard to find a rebuttal for anything Vivek says?
  • We need merit based voting like Vivek said. He did not say 18 cant vote he said ppl need to earn it through a merit system. Military, civics exam etc. We dont need ignorant ppl manipulated into voting for things they dont understand.
