He should not be penalized it was an opinion. What I don't understand is many of us women always express the joy we feel after become a mother and a wife. Rhianna recently expressed similar sentiments so what is wrong with what he said? Is it because it was said by a man and not a woman?

As a Catholic myself, these women totally misunderstood what a vocation meant. Vocation is simply your profession in life, to be a mother and a wife.

There are weak people in this world. If you are outraged by what Butker said that is fine. Why can't somebody say something that you disagree with and your reply be - "hey, I don't like what he said and here is why". Then let it go! State your beliefs and share your opinions and give your reasoning as to why you disagree. Instead weak, weak people try to have the guy lose his job. Why is that?

So this show's issue isn't with Butker, it's with Catholicism. Just say it already.

Finally someone dares to speak up with a different perspective. Good for him. Why is it that we’re forbidden to have different values. And I think it’s suspicious that there’s an outcry against statements like this while there’s silence regarding the very real misogyny of certain cultures that have come to the US with abhorrent treatment of girls and women. Let’s direct the outrage where it belongs.
