Walz file his candidacy for Congress with the FEC several months before his National Guard unit was deployed. It wasn't a last minute decision for him to retire. Vance's accusation that he bailed on his unit to avoid combat are absurd. At his elevated rank as a noncommissioned officer he never would have seen frontline duty.

Nancy, like Biden, isn't a good speaker. She often stumbles over her words and can be prone to gaffs. But, also like Biden, she has the understanding and the experience to be a phenomenal politician. Compare Nancy's term as Speaker to ANY of the last FIVE GOP Speakers - and the GOP are supposed to be more unified and disciplined than the Dems! I never called for the Biden to go but, now he's going, I see it's for the best. He's been an exceptional POTUS but he deserves some peace from the increasingly ugly MAGAs.

OK, Mr. Vance, let's talk about military service. I am a retired Army combat medic (24 years) with 2 tours in Iraq, and 1 each in A-Stan, Somalia and a rotation in Pakistan. JD, you were a correspondent who reported on people like me and my fellow Soldiers, worried more about where the nearest Starbucks was and how your hair looked. I find it particularly rich that your running mate weaseled out of military duty for "bone spurs" and you try to besmirch another's military record. As we say in the Army "You better check down before you check up" I will stand beside Mr. Walz any day over you.

Coach Walz has 17 medals and 2 Ribbons from National Guard in his 24 years. His service everywhere is impeccable and far reaching. Karma Kamala made a perfect choice. Reminds me of Colin Allred🤠🗣️💙 who should defeat the worst Senator today,💔 Ted Cruz (Jan6 only one reason)
