Slay the Spire on Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/646570/Slay_the_Spire/

This is fresh YouTube content, hot off the presses! Not one of those stinky stream VODs!

I brought back Slay the Spire to the stream this week for a little shot of nostalgia. Looks like I haven't lost a step...but I'm not sure I gained one either. Check it out!

It's simple, he clicks the cards; I Pog.
  • @seraphimrayn
The "I'm not ready to stop playing yet, though" remark at the end made me so happy. I'm not saying I never wanted him to win A20, but I am saying I'd be more than happy to watch another 500+ episodes of StS. Hearing that he may be continuing the series even after this amazing victory pogs my gourd in ways the human mind can't begin to fathom.

The math working out to exactly kill the Time Eater carries the same energy as the 20 energy Skewer that got him the Silent A20 victory.
  • @mostlytony1732
You can hear his brain overclocking by the last few floors of Act 3.
That Time Keeper fight couldn't have been more exciting!
  • @spevenpave5669
That was an incredible comeback from what looked like a rough couple of floors. He got the mantra going, he was ballsy with the elite fights, and that was a clutch move to upgrade the cards at the end there. And all with a fairy just sitting in his inventory. Spectacular run, looking forward to seeing more StS

The absolute smug aura on that "The press already?" sends my gourd into the stratosphere

The last turn, when he hovers over Strike and you can just hear him lean back in elation. It reminded me of the moment when the first winner of Who wants to be a Millionaire (U.S. version) saw the final question. Just a mixture of glee and excitement; it was hard not to smile along. The minute I saw the title and the reference I knew it was going to be a very based run, but congrats Ryan. If you decide to do Act 4 runs with the Watcher, or just the Dailies, I hope you keep playing StS for a while longer. It was really fun watching you progress back then and even more fun when it got brought back.

That perfect number of cards perfect damage calculator play, you love to see it
  • @ScoutXdude
The happiness at winning A20 was absolutely infectious.

Congrats! Absolutely inspired choice to upgrade all cards in the Mind Bloom event. One thing that indirectly allowed for you, which you did not mention (IIRC) was to upgrade your Through Violences/Smites/Safeties/starting Miracle because the upgrading relic had no other cards left to hit. That made quite a bit of difference in the end!
  • @LilyVan7
Amazing run. I want to add, thanks for keeping all of the A20 runs spoiler-free and ambiguous! It's been fun puzzling out whether the title implies a win or loss and it made the videos much more tense and fun to watch.
  • The title was a 600iq jebait and I'm personally offended by your prowess
  • @knmrt2760
This was truly an amazing run ! Watched every single episode of this series, seeing this first A20 watcher win unfold was a treat ! Glad it's not the final ep though, I'm not ready to skip the daily dose of slay the spire...
  • @yourboy9236
This was a very spicy and unique run. I'd love to see it again
  • The title and duration had me thinking it was a slow painful death where you got nickel and dimed, but this man didn't even need that fairy in a jar. Fantastic job
  • @leviasin8379
Y'know the first thing that brought me to this channel was the first round of Slay the Spire. To see him blast through watcher A20 in less than 50 episodes brings more joy than I ever expected. Well done, can't wait to see what's next!
  • @ferrannoah
I never really gave Slay the Spire a chance when he was playing it a while back but now I don’t want want the series to end.
  • @djays314
The comments this time around on the A20 push were so much more wholesome
  • @ItsMe-or5tx
Congratulations! That was incredible to watch, you really are so much better at this game than you think you are. Just wondering but do you plan on making a video on the Watcher's cards, or maybe the game's relics?
