Today I show you how dangerous table saw kickback can be, as well as how angle grinders can shatter and why its important to be safe with power tools!

I love how this went from “here are some important safety tips” to “hey kids let’s make a table saw into a cannon”
  • @dmdecc
“Don’t play around with this table saw!” Makes a table saw wood launcher for fun

  • @Blackmist64
Sets out to make video about safety practices, immediately gets sidetracked and makes a "table saw cannon" which he then tests without wearing safety goggles
  • @unif0_
I would like to see more table saw launching please
  • Fun fact, from my experience with it (I work with metal fabrication) if it gets tangled up in your shirt all the way, you will be pretty much okay. If it breaks the material, you will have a bad day. I have three scars and a number of cuts on my hands from angle grinder related accidents. The wheel with wires is the worst as far as pain goes and it also likes to jump around. Btw, two days ago I almost got killed by a broken disk. It missed my neck with a few centimeters. The other piece hit me in the face. My glasses caught it. So yeah, wear glasses. I guess

My power tool incident happened while using a miter saw when I was about 17 or so. I was using the saw to do a straight cut on a 2x4 and didn't realize my brother had used the saw that same day and unlocked it so the blade could be pulled out to cut a wider piece of wood. I don't know exactly what caused the kickback I had, but it ended with me slamming my hand straight into the side of the sawblade with enough force to bruise and cut my knuckles. Still grateful to this day that I didn't throw my hand right into the teeth of the blade. My lesson learned and a lesson for others would be to check the tools you're about to use if anyone else has access to them to make sure that they're set up properly and not fiddled with.

"hey kids wear safety goggles" *Doesn't wear safety goggles while shooting a weapon of the apocalypse
  • I love how he talks about all this safety but he isn’t even wearing safety glasses while using the angle grinder
  • @danbytp
This guy is soooooo right.I've seen only 2-3 of these "accidents".Seeing them , a circular saw grabbing my gloved hand and glancing off of my hand and 2 fingers, and this video soberingly makes me pay BIG ATTENTION to safety.
  • Yea, my engineering teach got his finger cut off messing with one of those blades; he should've been wearing his safety glasses.
  • @ItsCoughingBaby
Names the video "This is why you need to wear safety glasses", doesn't wear safety glasses most of the video.
  • I love how the angle grinder flails around and he goes to reach for it while hes teaching us about the hazzards of nkt being safe with it
  • @taofledermaus
That was some Survival Research Lab type awesomeness with the table saw launcher. I bought a new lens for the Chronos from them on ebay recently.
