PM Narendra Modi meets Indian Cricket Team | Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Team India dressing room after the India vs Australia final World Cup match in Ahmedabad and comforted the team after their defeat in the game. The PM was seen motivating Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami, Jasprit Bumrah as well as other players. He applauded coach Rahul Dravid and praised the entire team for the efforts. The PM also extended an invitation to the entire team to meet in Delhi.

This was quite touching actually. Too many rabid fans have been quite toxic in defeat. A single game does not define a team. Team India had an amazing 2023. And is set for a fantastic 2024. Imagine how it feels to be a New Zealand cricket fan. New Zealand ties Australia in having been to the ODI World Cup semi-finals the most times: a total of 9 times. And New Zealand has NEVER won the ODI World Cup.
